As a kid ROTJ was my favorite of the original trilogy. Saving Han from Jabba, assault on the Deathstar, Luke confronts Vader, and yes......EWOKS! Lucas had it right. Much like the killer bunny of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the Ewoks and their numbers, and the element of surprise would've barbarically slaughtered the Stormtroopers on Endor. I blame the motion pictures rating system and the PG rating for toning down what should've been shown as a bloody Frank-Miller-300-style killfest.
